Service Description
A deeply supportive treatment best described as a supercharged Manual Lymphatic Drainage session. Using multiple techniques such as myofascial release to open the tissues, then using gentle, feather-light techniques as well as the use of an infrared sauna blanket during the entire session including 15-20 minutes of zipped up “bake” time. This helps the process along by assisting in your cellular turnover and the cleaning of cells from the inside out further invigorating your lymphatic system. During this time I will be doing scalp and neck work as well as nervous system, regulation and energy balancing. This service helps stimulate the lymphatic system to support detoxification, reduce inflammation and fluid retention, boost circulation, and encourage overall wellness. Unlike traditional massage and MLD, this treatment works to not only enhance lymphatic health but overall health and wellbeing, nervous system support and help the body naturally process and move stagnant fluids, toxins, and waste. Perfect for those feeling sluggish, inflamed, puffy, run down, or simply wanting to support their body on a deeper level. * *Important note for this session; while its important to drink water every day, this session requires a significant increase in your water intake the day before, day of and day after. As we want to ensure you are clearing your system effectively of all the toxins we've moved and we dont want to get sick. Especially if its your first MLD session.**
Cancellation Policy
All bookings require a deposit to venmo. You will be contacted for that upon booking your appt. You may cancel or reschedule no later than 24 hours in advanced. You will get your deposit back if you cancel with appropriate time. Reschedule, no deposit return. This ensures opportunity to get that time re booked. Same day cancelations will be required to pay 50% of session and no deposit return as it will be used towards your 50% fee. No calls/no shows will be required to pay 100% of session. By booking and receiving massage/bodywork services from Tonnias Bodywork, I acknowledge that massage/bodywork is intended for relaxation, stress reduction, and therapeutic purposes only and is not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. I confirm that I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, medications, or health concerns that may affect my session. I understand that results may vary and no guarantees are made regarding outcomes. I voluntarily consent to receiving massage/bodywork services and understand that I may stop the session at any time. I release and hold harmless Tonnias Bodywork, its owner, and practitioners from any liability, claims, injuries, or damages arising from services received, except in cases of gross negligence or misconduct. I also understand that inappropriate behavior of any kind will result in immediate termination of the session with full payment due.
